Our Story
Jody Bauer, Owner
Jody has over 35 years in the healthcare industry, with more than 22 years working in Integrative Medicine Practices. This has exposed her to a great many wellness perspectives and modalities; many of which she has applied to her own life.
She was introduced to Matrix Regeneration Therapy (MRT) early in her Integrative Medicine career and was intrigued by the process and the “sense of well-being” she achieved at that time. Several years later, with the results of an abnormal breast thermography indicating severe inflammation that was threatening her breast tissue, she was drawn back to MRT, sensing the value this therapy could offer her. As the MRT encouraged stimulation of the lymph, the inflammation dissipated allowing toxins to move away from the breasts and out of the body, restoring a healthy environment for the breast tissue.
A year later, Jody was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and sought appropriate medical care. Once again, there was a sense of knowing the body may need to be encouraged to move out the ‘dead bacteria’ and calm the inflammation that can clog the matrix and keep it from effectively doing its job. This was very effective and greatly diminished the physical discomfort of Lyme Disease as well.
Throughout her history with MRT, Jody was continually impressed by the gentle effectiveness of the therapy. She saw the absolute health and wellness value it could offer to almost everyone! Her lifelong desire to help others led to her unquenchable desire to bring MRT to many more people. MRT has been successfully used for over 25 years, but has not been offered in this area. In 2020, the calling became very clear; so, with great faithfulness and a heart for helping others, the journey toward True U Wellness began.
Currently, Jody is a Certified MRT Therapist and Christian Faith-Based Mentor at True U Wellness. She is also a co-founder, along with her daughter Bonnie, of True U Crew (TUC). TUC is a Christian faith-based charity offering a variety of supportive services in the community. Bonnie is also a certified MRT Therapist providing services at True U Wellness.
